Mundo Villapadua has done it again! The decor and feel is similar to 1836 Texas Kitchen. Great southern-mexican menu! This isn't the typical chain restaurant tex-mex, this is home-made all original food here. You'll definitely get your fill and the prices are mid-range which is very fair for what you get. Definitely recommended for casual-but-nice dining!

Food was amazing!!! Staff went above and beyond when they realized it took a while to be greeted. The back patio was a nice surprise, it's very relaxing! We will definitely be back!! So glad Whitehouse finally got a nice restaurant that's not bbq or mexican food!!

We ate here last night for the first time and we were truly impressed. The service, the food, and the atmosphere were amazing! I love the remodel and I can't wait to enjoy a drink on the patio. The chicken tinga tacos were delicious and the steak tacos were tender and flavorful. We love it! We'll definitely be back and it's nice to have a tiny sliver of Villa Montez in our small town.

I have a villa Montez evade 1836 Texas kitchen and now Monty Creekside and all three are excellent as always Mundo and Carlos and whole crew excellent cooks and deserve big praise prices are always good food is always excellent

Brilliant. As inventive and thoroughly-nailed as Villa Montez or 1836. I'm so impressed how they get every employee to take such pride and ownership over the entire experience. I had the Tejano "Fries," she had the salmon, both pictured here. Excited to see how it evolves.
